Electronica 2024 in Messe Munchen, Germany at the International Congress Center (ICM)

TCLAD was excited to take part in Electronica, the world’s leading trade fair for electronics. Our global technical team welcomed visitors from across the industry to Booth #311, where we had the pleasure of introducing latest innovation: the new state-of-the-art SPL-15 dielectric material, offering an impressive thermal conductivity of 10W/m-K.

The show was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our European customers, partners and fellow innovators, and to discuss how TCLAD’s advanced thermal management solutions are enabling innovation in next-generation power electronics. TCLAD Europe GmbH Localized Service to our Customers

TCLAD Europe GmbH, a subsidiary of TCLAD Technology Corporation, officially took over the Thermal CLAD business from Henkel in Europe, including all dedicated assets, and business operations. The new company name honors the legacy of the Thermal CLAD brand while reflecting our continued commitment to excellence and innovation in thermal management.

Originally launched as a part of The Bergquist Company, and later Henkel Corporation, the Thermal Clad business was among the early pioneers in the development of insulated metal substrate (IMS) technology in the late 1980s. With a proprietary manufacturing process for high-quality dielectric materials, Thermal Clad products were engineered to deliver exceptional thermal performance and electrical insulation for demanding applications across automotive, LED lighting, industrial power, aerospace and defense, and semiconductor markets.

Today, Thermal CLAD offerings — including dielectric laminate sheets, inks and immersion cooling fluids — are recognized globally for their outstanding reliability and performance.

TCLAD Europe GmbH is led by President Thomas Michels. Our European teams provide localized customer support and technical expertise to our European customers and partners.

TCLAD Announces New South Korea Operations

Spring in South Korea, especially during cherry blossoms season, is a time of celebration, renewal, and fresh beginnings. This spring, we are excited to announce a new beginning of our own for the well-known Thermal Clad IMS laminate and circuit products, formerly part of The Bergquist Company.

Our new company, TCLAD Inc, is proud to support the evolving thermal management needs in South Korea. We are most happy to introduce Peter Ham, based in Incheon, who will lead the Korean team. Peter and his team will provide localized customer support, warehousing, logistics, and technical service — ensuring we stay close to our customers and responsive to their needs.

The long-awaited purchase of the Bergquist Thermal Clad product line from Henkel is now complete. We are happy to announce that the time has finally come, the original Bergquist Thermal Clad is back, and we are stronger than ever!

TCLAD Inc., a Delaware corporation, has finished the acquisition of the Bergquist Thermal Clad division from Henkel. The purchase included all assets, business, facilities, and technology of the Thermal Clad product line. All inhouse personnel including sales, technical, indirect, and direct employees will remain a part of the new TCLAD Inc. team. The manufacturing headquarters will remain in Prescott, Wisconsin. Our global footprint includes operating divisions strategically located in key locations throughout the world to best serve our customers. TCLAD Inc., Prescott, Wisconsin USA, World Headquarters for sales, R&D, engineering, and manufacturing of Insulated Metal Substrates (IMS®) laminates and custom circuits. TCLAD Europe GmbH, Pfaffen-Schwabeheim Germany is our location for sales, technical support, warehousing, and distribution for greater Europe. It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce the anticipated May 1, 2021, closing of our purchase of Henkel’s Thermal Clad Insulated Metal Substrates business by our parent company, TCLAD Technology Corporation, a subsidiary of Polytronics Technology Corporation (PTTC). We are taking actions to ensure there will be no delays in service or manufacturing during this transition period following closing.

TCLAD Inc., a Delaware corporation and subsidiary of TCLAD Technology Corporation, will take over the TCLAD business from Henkel, including all dedicated assets, business, facilities, and technology of the TCLAD product line. All Henkel TCLAD personnel, including sales and technical teams, will become part of the new TCLAD Inc. team. As a part of our global manufacturing strategy, manufacturing operations will remain in Prescott, Wisconsin. The new company name honors the legacy of the Thermal CLAD brand while reflecting our continued commitment to excellence and innovation in thermal management.
